01 325ci cell phone question

LD325CI n00b Join Date: Jul 2004 Car: Posts: 2 Photos:	I've had my bmw for about 6 months now and on the steering wheel there is what looks like it is equipped for a cell phone but I do not see a number pad or a place to connect a cell phone could someone please explain this to me on how this works or what I need for this to work?
