recently got my 323i and me and a few of my friends were messing around, smoking/chirping tires in their cars (evo8, supra,) but when i tried it turn the traction
control off and chirp the tires, it would catch everything and the tires didnt spin at all ..
is this an issue with the traction control or the clutch .. or is it something else

any help is appreciated

To turn the whole system off, you have to hold the button in for around four seconds or so. You can't just turn it off by pushing the button. This might have been your problem.

NOT in red. red is bad, communist or sumthin'. yellow on both the dsc light and brakes. in us cars it spells out "brakes", in non us it has its own icon.
