Just a thought, if you want to see how much flex a strut bar stops, leave one side attached but not tight enough to hold the bar in place.
Coat the area around the bolts with grease or a similar goo that cleans up easy, then take your BMW for a good run with lots of turns, acceleration and breaking.
Now, open the hood and see how much movement the bar made by looking at the marks the bolts made in the grease / goo ...
yeah my friend just bought two strut braces for his 2.5rs and he thinks itll make a difference, well it would if they werent from ebay and he got both them shipped for 55$!!!

I don't know why any of you guys would want this. However, if you want it just for looks, I can get the same bars made by "vibrant performance" for $30. Just don't expect it to do anything except take up space in your engine bay. I've tried this bar and the bar I sold to Furious which was made in Germany. Just after 5 min of driving I could already tell which one worked and which one didn't. If you think those German made bars are a waste of money, they aren't. They are functional. The cheap ones under $200 are not!

A cheap bar will bend or compress. The 200+ bars are forged, not cast, and a lot thicker.

You need something like this to really make a difference.
