ok but i havnt paid b/c the buyer and myself can't find out if they are actually real oems, he said he got this from his friend and he'll check the the part # at the dealer or w/e, anyways what do you guys think? is it oem? should i just get it? thanks in advance sorry for all the questions lately but i just received another e36

do u guys know if the back of them is always plastic like that or sometimes aluminium?

All the ones I have seen are plastic. I have never seen aluminum.... but perhaps they do exist, I wouldn't be able to say I'm 100% sure they're all plastic.

i got some "m-spec" tail lights of a 97' e36 4door and are aluminum at the back, they must be oem because they do have a little bmw badge on the front and they do fit my car but one of the connections for one bulb is rusted/corroded so it doesnt work, therefore i returned them : they looked cool for about 5sec while they were on lol oh well. i think e46's have aluminium because i saw a picture somewhere while searching.
