Wobbly drivers seat 97 328is - BMW Forum

Hello BMW friends, I have a 328is 1997 coupe and the power seat is wobbly. I have removed the seat, and can't find anything by looking underneath. It is something structural that is loose or worn, the seat is rocking slightly from left to right. It's not a huge deal but it's really bugging me that I can't find out what's wrong with it. Has anyone had this happen? Please help! Thanks

Got the same thing on my 7 series makes a click noise too, everytime you go round a junction, does'nt matter which way left or right, been trying for months to find the problem with no results.

Did find this, its not for either of our series but they cant be that different, Im going to give it a go when the weather gets better.

Seat clicking fix

Sounds like the same problem, clicks and clunks a bit going around corners. I took the seat off and it still clunked when I pushed on it in the garage. It looks like the plastic base might be weakened structurally causing it to rub on one of the curved rails. I'm going to wait before I break it all down and take out the motorsetc until I have something to look for! Thanks guys for the replies so far!
