How do I remove the wiring harness from the back of my factory 1997 328i radio. It don't wanna mess anything up by pulling too hard becasue it seems like the harness is fit pretty snug in the radio.
pull that black clip up about 1/2" ( you might need a screwdriver to pry it up a little). Once it is up, it should pull back, away from the stereo. So, it's an "up, and away" type motion.
don't be afraid to put some force in it, they are a little tuff to get off.

Get a BIG Flat head and pry up like hell. It will pop off and scare the hell out of you.
