wiper issues

ok so i have a 92 325 is and i am expearencing some issuse with my windsheild wiper system

what im expearencing right now confuses me

while i was driving down the road and accidentaly hit the washer spray button causing it to spray and cloud my feild of vission only to become horrified when i discoverd that my wipers dont work at all.

anyone have any ideas?

i also have a dent on my hood that catches my driver side wiper assembly when opening and closing could this be part of my problem?

How would a dent in the hood catch the wiper assembly? A dent doesnt change the shape of the hood's dimensions.

It's right at the wiper assembly and catches when you open and close the hood

would say rear bonnet edge is bent .
Hold block off wood under bonnet edge and knock it straight with a hammer.should then clear the wiper
