Its a 1998 328 convertable. I'm pretty stupid not to do it it the first winter it saw. Its a Florida car and had maybe seen a light snow once or twice in its life time.
This past winter tho i notice did some nice rusting to my exhust and bare metal frame work...?....can't remember exaclty, but i wasn't impressed, so i'm definitly getting it done problably this weekend.
I went to a company called Krown. They did an underbody spray and they drilled small holes in the door panels to spray the inside. As an extra measure I bought a rust proofing spray at a local hardware store and sprayed all the cracks and seams myself. I'm crossing my fingers.
There are a few types of undercoating. I used to go with the type they spray, just oil, that usually leaks for a day or two and makes a big mess. Metropolitain is the company and they charge $80.00 CD$ plus tax.
There are some places now that offer the NO DRIP stuff. It's the better choice. I found a place in Montreal that'll do it for $50.00.
I hear rustcheck is reliable as well, I have never used them though and this is not an endorsement. See link below for Toronto locations
