Winter Tires In The Summer

Is is bad to use winter tires in the summer? I was just wondering because if its bad, then i guess ill have to go and buy new tires. Thanks guys.

It is not bad per say, but you will lose handling and wear out your tires alot faster. The best thing to do is have a set of summer tires also and put those on. I kept my stock rims and am going to buy winter tires to put on those and keep the summer tires on my new rims. Although if I move to Arizona then I will not need snow tires.

Well me too, Im moving to california and driving there but different story because these are weather tires. Thanks anyway though.

if your moving to cali, than drive them till they are gone, unless you want the performance aspect of the car to be top notch. in that case i would maybe try to sell them before you move away.

I would keep the winter tires prime, just incase, and buy yourself some all season or summer tires for California. You never know if you will need the winter tires again. Sounds like just a waste of good tires.
