winshield wipers... weird!!!!

my wipers function normally but when i turn them off they stop 1' high, even when its on intermitent they stop like that.
The car its a 328i 1997 with 125kmiles.

1 foot high is pretty bad, right in the middle i take it? you may have to get it checked by a mechanic, because those damn wipers are one of my e36 nemesis, if i were to guess i would think the motor has have somehow reset to think that where they are currently at is where they currently should be but like i said i hate wipers.

hopefully someone else can chime in here and give you a better answer,

For the wipers, i asked the dealer and he told me its the motor ...90% sure.
