so, as soon as the first snow came here in ny i realized i needed new wipers... so i went out and bought new 1's... 21 inch driver side.. and 20 inch passenger side... first time i used them the driver side got stuck in with the passenger side and broke the driver side blade... so i bought a new 1... went home, put it on.. and it did it again!! tonight, since it is snowing in ny, i used my wipers again.. and again it happeend... so i had to drive 3 miles home from work with 1 wiper...
so this is my question?? does any 1 know what can be causing this??
- and no, i put them on corretly!
and 2.... can i make the driver side a 20 inch and passenger side a 19 inch???
Ok ... there's obviously a problem.
Even though you said you'd installed them correctly, check them again. Maybe they are reversed after all.
The other thing could be you installed one that's too long.
The problem is obviously the size is incorrect.

Yea.. I have the same size ones for both blades.. just bought some kevlar ones the other day..
Easy fix... go to Advanced Auto Parts... get them to look up the type and size of the blade you use.. then... buy two of them.. after making sure you take the same size as the passengers...
I know one of the wipers is supposed to be a 19, I think its the passenger side. Hell, I looked in the book at my local Walmart and Pep Boys...
