bmw96 is an unknown quantity at this point
my car keeps tellin me that im low in windshield washer fluid, but there is windshield washer fluid when i looked at the tank...is this one of those things where i have to reset the settings so it becomes normal ?

Im sure there is a way to reset it, but im not sure.. it could be a faulty fluid sensor.... I'm currently replacing the pump.... it never worked anyways...

I think the sensor in the tank is defective or a bad contact.
Try to take it out , clean it a bit and spray the contacts with some contact spray.
If it does not help buy a new sensor.

you don't have to reset anything, probably a faulty sensor
