Windows not working - BMW Forum

Help please,
I disconnected the battery this weekend to some engine work. Now both windows do not work. The windows worked fine before now they just get stuck. It's like their is something keeping the windows from going up. Can anyone help

you said they get stuck going back up, that means that you can get them down?

can you hear to motor turning?

(i know this is stupid to ask but, they are power windows, right?)

Yes they are power windows. Both windows are all the way down and when I try to put them up they will move a little and then stop. Just as if something is in the way.

Problem Fixed!! I think
When I pushed the door in the window started to go up a little. So i had to keep pushing the door in until the window went all the way up. Did this for both sides and now the windows work fine. Now the question as to why this happened.
