Windows don't work - BMW Forum

Went to a wedding on Saturday. Windows worked fine. Car sat all day Sunday. This morning tried to open driver window and nothing happened. Same for the passenger side. Is this a comfort relay issue? My sunroof still works. Everything else works fine.

1995 325is with 251000 Kms.

check the motors. my drivers side stopped working, so i checked it and the motor was expired. got a new one and it works just fine.

or check under the button before buying new windows and see if there is anything sticky under them...that happened to me

Maybe your window motor. My drivers side motor took a poop a couple years ago and I had it replaced. Kinda weird that BOTH your windows aren't working. Do they make any sounds when you try to move them?

No sounds and no movement. Don't think it's the motors cause they both wouldn't go exactly at the same moment. All fuses are good.

I need to know if it's the comfort relay and the DIY to change the comfort relay isn't working. Is there a breaker for the windows? Older bimmers had them but I don't think they exist on the e36. I'm going to try the comfort relay first, then the switches. I really don't want to start going into the doors...
