Okay, the passenger side window is acting up and I wonder if anyone can tell me what to look for.... It drops some when opening the door, and is supposed to go back up again when the door closes and it does not... it'll drop every time the door opens but does not alwayg go up again... it is also sporatic trying to raise the window using the switch on the console... it it a sensor, or the motor itself that needs replacing... I need to fix this asap, and plan or tearing it apart on Friday. any help and info would be appreciated...

when i row mine up sometimes it will stop mid-way and go back down an inch or two. its very annoying. im pretty sure its just the window motor acting up. mine always goes up and down fine though when i open and close the door, so maybe you do have a different problem.

there was another topic on this about 2 weeks ago, but your cars have that automatic door lowering thing because of the pressure and thats the part that you need to replace, not sure what it is called, sorry!

I did a search, and went through 15 pages... seems like the windows in these cars are problematic, however, I didn't find any posts describing the problem I have... Does anyone have any idea what might be bad on this one???

The guy at the local dealer thought it may be the window regulator, which is a hundred dollar part, and I'd like to be certain it is the problem before I drop that much on a part...
