Window Moves Inch By Inch

hey people

I have a 92 325is with 89k only . but i have a problem with the passenger side window. I window only moves an inch at a time. I have to keep pressing the button to move the window up or down. And with the door is open it only can move down. However, the window does raise/lower when the door is open/closed. Need help!! anyone out there with a solution please reply back

I had sorta problem. Check the window lifting motor, and most likely the window itself has been missplaced.

The window has to be "reset"...ask or hunt around for the process

Hmm.MIne does the same...cept when I hold my button down it will go all the way up...just not automatically...But I looked at the window motor...all seems in good working order...could it be the button..?

Your button is broken. The top part of this switcher is a small plastic panel (what you acctualy press on) with 2 arrows has a smaler clear plastic part underneth it. This clear plastic thing had 2 plastic pins on each side which allow you to press button deeper for automatic mode. Those pins are broken.
