Window Motor Replacement

I removed the door panel to replace window motor, and to my disappointment the motor and arm assembly is held on to the door by metal clips of some sort, and not by screws. How do I remove them?

I have a motor that doesn't "learn" the stop positions for the window, and keeps trying to raise / lower the window after it has reached the limit. I got another motor/arm assembly, but really need to replace just the motor.

If you have any tips, I'll appreciate much.

Aight.. nevermind the PM I sent you...

To remove the motor.. first you need to remove the door panel which you have done.. then remove the door glass .....

Then remove the door handle...

Disconnect the wiring connector to the motor...

You then remove the regulator mounting bolts if it has them.. which yours does not.. since you have rivets.. you must drill them out.. you may replace them with bolts of the same size...

Then you remove the regulator assembly from the door...

Then unbolt the power window motor from the rear of the regulator...

As I said before... some of the regulators are mounted with rivets.. which is your problem.. you may replace them with M6 x 10 bolts.. and self locking nuts..
