I have a 96 328is and my drivers side window makes a grinding/popping noise when i roll the window all the way up. Has anyone else had this problem or know what is causing this?

Sorry, have yet to notice a problem like that, but man, all you guys with 96' 328is's are so damn SEXY.

Mine did this, and here was my problem:

On the backside of the doorhandle, there are three electrical plugs that are supposed to snap into a clip on the door handle itself. Mine had come off and the window was banging into them when you rolled it down. Even severed some of them, too. I patched the wires and shoved the plugs back into their holders and voila! no more popping. Hope this helps!

Take the door panels off.. and look at that sucker your self... you might find something astray.... who knows... thats what I'd do.
