For the last couple of months I had problem with passenger window. It use to slip off after rolling up half way. I use to roll up like an inch (had to do like 10-15 times to roll up completely). But few days back I tried to roll down the window and it doesnt work at all. The window is stuck and it doesnt do anything when I push the switch. I can feel that the motor is trying to pull it down and its drawing the juice since the headlights go a little dim when I push the window button.
Does anyone had this kind of situation before and fixed it ?
pull the door skin off so you can see the inner working of the window mech. you want to make sure that its on its track, the motor spindle is still connected to the output shaft.
take off the door lock (just twists off), behind the handle are 2 little covers with screws (dont remember wut kind) take those off and just pry the door panel off
^^^They're Torx T20 screws. You also have to remove the inside door pull trim. To do this, lift the trim away from the door, and slide it forward towards the front of the car.
