My 1st post......

I own a 1992 318is coupe. The window on the "shotgun"side doesn't come down in one push of the button. I have to push the damn thing for about 10 times before the window is down. Is it possible to program the windowengines and how should it be done???

hi essit welcome to the forums. you could have a problem with the window being a little side tracked. what i mean is one of the arms could be off the track or it could have poped out of its slider (you need to open up the door skin and give it a good look, if it has popped out of one of the sliders than you will have to get it back into place and locate the pin that holds it in place and you should be all set.

but if you press the button all the way down and hold it it goes up again

you guys may all very well have this problem, the pivot arm is probably on the track but off the slider,

i had the same problem on my 92 325 is i replaced the window motor and it cured the problem, i also replaced the sliders the old ones have a tendency to break !the window would go down about an inch at a time
