Will It Fit?

Hi all, my exhaust suddenly sounds louder than a Messchershmitt on steroids - I think all the baffles have finally caved in!

Anyway, will a stock 325 exhaust fit my 318?

i dont know for sure, put probably not.

the 325 doesnt have downpipes, it just has two pipes coming from the manifold, and since urs is a 4, i dont think it will have 2.. idont know though..

Will not fit.....318 is single pipe.....325 is two pipes

I know they have twin pipes out of the muffler - just wasnt sure if it would fit at the other end

I have a headache now - all that and the "flight" home has done me in

man it sounds so loud - and i park in an underground car park! Sounds like a riced out freight train in there

exhaust removal is a DIY type of job....very easy. just lift the car on jack stands and get-n-there.

stock will unbolt/bolt on very easily...just a few nuts/bolts. the coupler to the header gets really hard to break so grab a pipe or breaker bar.

DONT FORGET TO DISCONNECT THE OXYGEN SENSOR BEFORE U DROP THE PIPES!!!!
or u will snap the wires

if ur tackling this solo....do it in sections cuz its pretty heavy and loooooooong.
do the muff first *snicker*snicker*
then the cats next *disgusting*

have fun, and ummmmm dont do it when the pipes are hot after u just drove the car.
(not for u black, but some idiot always gets burned by hot parts cuz they r green...)

Black just get a cat-back set up. Its very easy its two bolts on the cat and two hanger bolts. Took me about a 1/2 hour w. a friend to change his over.
