will e46 m3 rims fit on an e36

my dad owns a e46 m3 and he loves to drive but hes not teenager or a mod freak, in fact i argue w/him all the time and he says tuning a car is retarded, only recently have i been able to sway him with my new-found interest forced induction..anyway- he has winter tires and rims on his car now, and i think im gonna buy a e36 318 or 325, would his summer(the ones that arent 5-spoke) rims fit??? please say yes!!! btw i have a e28 528e with winter tires, would those rims fit on a e36 that i might get???

You wanna B) be carefull of width. Can't go more than 8" on an E36 rear I believe without rolling the fenders.

ya they will , but get replicas, they will fit better.

the e36/e46 rims will not fit an e28, so you are SOL on putting them on your existing car and new one you intend to get. As for the e46 M3 rims, they could fit an e36, but only with extreme rolling. Replicas would be better.

im not buying them, theyre my dads, he ueses snow tires, been using them sinince last winter b/c hes too lazy o change the rims and tires, he said i could use them if they fit...how do u roll fenders and how much does it cost?
