not claiming insurance. I know a guy at a shop who's doing the frame work for $1000 hopefully. And i'm up to $960 in parts from a BMW recycer. If all goes well i'll just need the parts painted. Hopefully engine didn't suffer any damage. Just looked like radiator to me. But yeah....i was sore for a few days. Hitting a mountain head on at 50 will do that to you.
the E36, a car already known for nose diving from time to time went straight as i took a sharp corner at a speed it should be capable of, but with bald front tires, and completly shreaded controll arm bushings.... I'm just thankfull i went straight into the mountain at 50 and not straight off the other side into a ravine at 50
I love it. "Oh, dude, you wrecked your car... SPEND LOTS OF MONEY ON EXTRONEOUS PARTS."
My suggestion is just the opposite. I'm not opposed to a little styling, but your focus should be on functionality, work quality, and legality. At least that's my two cents.
yeah all my replacement parts are black, so i will be driving a black gold car for a while if (both figers crossed) it can be fixed soon and there's nothing wrong with the engine
Tires are well worth a few bucks. There aren't any mountains around here but I would want decent tires on my car if I was going racing in the mountains.
