Who has this feature on their cars?

When I first got my 95-318ti, about 3 weeks ago, I was reading the manual from the glove box. In the manual it descripes a feature if you happend to leave your windows down you can just put the key in the drivers door and hold it in the lock position and all the windows will automatically close. Well, I tried it on my car and it doesn't work. I assume this must be a feature that my car doesn't have... at least I hope it doesn't have it rather then it having it and it not working!

My 94 325is does it....I put the key in turn it to right (locks) wait like 5 seconds then the windows go up....

Do you think my car is supposed to have this feature and it's broken or was this an option... an option that I don't have.
