Whining noise and ticking clutch pedal!

When I'm driving and shift (manual) to another gear I hear a whining noise. I also feel my clutch pedal lightly ticking since last days. I'm afraid it's the press bearing, but I'm not sure. Should I do it myself or go to the dealership? Any input would greatly appreciate

It was the throw out bearing. I'm replacing the whole clutch because the labour cost is the same...

i second that i could be a throwout bearing issue.

I've visited my dealership today. They looked to my car and guess what; I need to replace the clutch with all small bearings ect. Labour costs will be 334 euro (400 USD) and parts 300 euro (360 USD). This means they going to rip me

I've asked a friend of my (who has a Honda accord H22a) if we can do it our self. He said we might be and he has the availability of a car bridge too so this is great! It saves me 360 bucks..... I try to make some pics when we working on it and then I will post it in the FAQ forum. We plan to do this next Friday!

I have made an appointment with my dealership. They gonna fix this next friday for only 634 euros ($770).

My car is in the garage now... They've called me this morning that they couldn't get loosen one bolt and the bill will now rise about that The total costs comes around 720 euros now!!!
