Whining Noise From Braking And Steering

Whenever I have to stop quickly and I press down a bit faster and harder on the brake, it causes this whining to start. From that point on it makes the whining noise whenever I start braking or turning my wheel. I also hear it a bit once I take off from a stop, as if you're hearing the brakes being released. I'm thinking... well.. I'm not realy sure... Any ideas?

umm how long has it been sinc eyou have had your brakes looked at/serviced... i would (if you know anything about brakes) try to located which side front back left right it is coming from and take off the wheel and check the braking system... or you could always pay for a dude to do it for ya for 80$ an hour haha

i had similar thing. like. if i brake hard. then at light my car would make whining noise for a few seconds. but i dunno. its gonne now. i started doing it more(breaking harder) and it doesnt do it anymore. now my bearing is dead tho on my front left tire. lol. gotta fix that.

Wheel hub bearings could be dry....I think in bimmers it's not a sealed part, so you could maybe just lube the bearings...but im not positive on that one...
