I have having trouble locating where the last senor connector I have left goes. It comes out of the bottom of the harness on the intake. Its the really long single one.
I took this pic from realeom.com and it does not show the sensor however I did circle in red where it comes from. FYI I have a 94 318is 4-cyl.
thanks

describe the sensor please? or post a pic. with any color coding if available.
I did post a picture and circled it in red. Can you not see it? It come off of the harness from the intake. Its a sensor plug that is by itself (others are grouped with 3 plugs) and it is the longest one.
I cant take a pic, don't have a camera handy. It has 2 prongs just like the water temp sensor. Its the longest wire. One wire is white/blue and green/blue. Does this help any?
I'm thinking it will go to the DISA? vacuum chamber that sits under the intake beside the shock tower. If I can remember correctly the fitting is under the vac chamber. I think I have a picture of the vac chamber attached.
I guess when you said long you really meant long! I had forgotten about that connection. In future, you should label the connectors. I usually use multicolored markers to mark the plug and connector. I your case an actual label for really obscure connectors would have worked best. Glad you were able to solve it.
