I've had my 94 325I for a few months and think it's great. Just one thing bothers me: NO Cupholder in the center! (Need a place to put my coffee without spillinging it all over the damn place)
I've seen what look to be add-on cup holders in other people's rides.
Can anyone point out where I can get one that won't cost a million dollars?

Try a salvage yard. I have the same problem and I have been calling around trying to get one also.

i got one in the middle for 2 normal 33cc cans .. but if i place 1 redbull can instead of 33cc can it will spill .. accerlatin or breakin .. mercedes got a single cup holder, deeper and less broad.. works fine (in the benzz ghead )
but its good for holdin my tabac and phone and stuff .. gor auto trannny so always got 1 hand free still
I bellieve that www.bavauto.com has the best selection. Look on there then see if you can find it somewhere else, might save you a few bucks, but custumer support/service with Bavauto is great.
Don't know about the 325, but in my '92 525 (which didn't come with cupholders) there is enough room by the gearshift lever for a roll of duct tape. Yep, I have that with one of those cardboard coffee cup heat shields that hold my morning coffee just fine. Not pretty, but hey, it's all about the coffee, right?

BMW's are made for driving and not eating/drinking in.
You want to eat and drink coffee/pop? Park the car and go sit at a table :P

While I agree you can purchase an OEM cupholder from bavauto or yes, the stealership.
