Where Can I Get....

Where can I get one of those "extended" hoods you see on some cars? I was looking through this months BMW Scene magazine..and I saw this SICK E-36 with an extended hood that looked like it was from an E46. Where can I get one of thosE? and also..........

Is it possible to put those new M3 "SMG" trannys on my old E36???

LOL..it's just a thought..because sometimes I want a manual tranny..but git too lazy to shift..so i'd also like to have an A/T too! HAHA.. call me a dumass.. but it WOULD be original..unless someone did this before.. then im a biter.. :P :P O WELL.. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE PEOPLE! =)

BTW...when's the next So-Cal bimmer meeT? i would LOVE to go and learn more about BIMMERS!!!! :lol: :lol:

Yea... without a huge software upgrade... that sucker wouldnt fit.. I'm almost positive its never been done.. unless you inplant the E46 motor with it.... as for the hood... search around the web... I've never seen it.. you are bound to find it sooner or later...

I think Some E36 M3s had the early SMG I transmission fitted...not sure what year but Ive seen it before, not sure if it includes auto modes though.

yeah you either love smg or you hate it.. i think its a great invention but not for my driving style..
