Where is it?

Hey Guys,

This is frustrating! Most sites/manuals/lists don't even list the 320i as a model for 1992-1999!!!!!! Hello!!! We are out here!!!

Anyone knows where the blower motor resistor in a 94, 320i is? It is not above the kick panel on either side, and definitely not above the gas pedal. people have told me it's in these places for a 325i, but guess the 320i is different. My blower wont work in #1 position. Please help. This is driving me nuts.

To access it is very tricky. It's located towards the back of the firewall under your steering wheel. It should be located towards the back right above where there are some silver coloured tubes that look like fingers. Just find the plug and pull it out.

Hey Guys,

Well, sorry for being a little short fused on that one. This deal was driving me nuts. It's actually mounted right on the heater box. Remove the driver's side upper kick panel, look towards the middle upper side about 8 inches higher and 6 inches to the right of the gas pedal. Remove the harness and pull out the resistor with a flat screwdriver and your fingers. Shove the new one in, attach the harness and replace kickpanel. It should work on all settings now. Pat yourself on the back and go for a spin.
