WHEEL ADVICE/OPINIONS

im having a hard time deciding what to go with. im getting the h&r cup kit this week and hope to install it this weekend and also want some new wheels to go with it. currently i have a stock e36 (95 325i) the h&r is going to lower it 2.1 front and 1.7 rear so i was thinking 17" wheels.

i want to keep the smooth ride, with no rubbing/fender rolling etc and i'm partial to gunmetal or hyperblack/silver wheels, but what to get !!

i like the motegi mr7 wheels but not sure how they would look on my car (blue e36 4dr) and not even sure if they would fit. please parade me with your opinions/advice : )

im not wanting to spend a lot of $ on it (preferably under $1000 for both wheels and tires) because even though my car is in great condition, it does have 166,000 miles on it and not sure how much longer i'll have it (next stop: m3 : ) but thats down the road a few months.

also, is it true most bmw's last up around 300,000 miles ??

with proper maintainace and good care of the car (not a whole lot of abuse) im sure its very possible.

My 1992 e36 coupe is 150K+ and going strong. Just starting to look at adding rims/wheels/tires and spicing things up a bit.

These forums look great. I hope to see some pics of other wheels and tires and rims =)
