Ya its an upper brake light. its burnt out on my car and the Ive bought the wrong bulb twice. That size bulb isnt in the stupid book to look up lights and its not in the computer either.
5 and 7 are the tail lights that go on when you turn the lights on. 7 has a dual filament because euro spec has rear fog lights, I've been devising a way to wire up the fog light to light with the other brake light.

I don't think that its just the Euro specs that have rear fogs...My 318 has it...I only use it to scare the shit out of people tailgaiting my ass :nana

If you look in your fuse box.... in the engine bay... there is a fuse spot for 'rear fogs'. I dont remember if I had a fuse or not... and I'm pretty sure I have all of the bulbs back there... but when I turn my fogs on... my rear lights come on too... I'm just not sure if its that bulb or not.
