sorry, don't know too much about turbos, i had a 03 gti 1.8T but only had it for a month...(crashed it) do some research, they have 10... then make up your decision!

i dunno, but ive seen superchargers for 5500, and here is a turbo kit for 3 grand lol

It's a good deal if you have experiance tuning turbo systems. It has a garret turbo, which is a well known and trusted name in the turbo business. I didn't the turbo manifold though. I like to see exhaust tube lenghts close to being equal. On their manifold, cyl. 1 is about 5 times longer than cyl 6.


What makes companys like Dinan and AA forced induction kits so expensive is the detail they put into tuning the engine. This kit does not have that detail, but that's not a bad thing. If you have experiance setting up turbo systems, kits like this allow you to save several thousands of dollars.

If you have the patience and experiance to work on tuning the system, go for it.
