Hi, I am new here, i am just posting this because a friend of mine is asking cuz he just bought a used 97 bmw 328i.

He wants to know the whp of this car...
it's a 190hp, 207lb tq...

That's not the wheel horsepower.... that's just horsepower to the crank..
HOW MUCH HP TO THE WHEEL??

Search this forum for a topic last week that goes into detail, but Sticks lose about 15%, Autos about 20 - 25%.

So many Dummies giving answers here, we need to make our own book...

Between 165-170rwhp, and about 175-190rwft-lbs. depending on how strong the motor is.
