ghead Need some advice..I have a 1993 318is that I paid only $4000 bucks for..and is in excellent condition..inside and out..I bought it from the orginal owner..who took very good care of her (little old lady..no shit)...It has 93000 miles on it now..

My situation is..I live overseas (military) and will need to ship it back to the US..but it will cost me $1800 bucks..

Should I pay to ship her back or sell it??

I'm thinking..there is no way in hell I will ever find another car for that price and in such good condition.

What should i do??

sell it. but if the car is that good of a deal then look further into getting a better deal on shipping.

also talk to a member named balucanb he was in the same situation as i recall

definitley sell im sure u can find another good one for under 5800$ since it would cost u half the value of the car to ship

Why can't the military ship it back? I shipped a car to and from Incirlik, Turkey.

if i remember right they will ship a car from america to where you are stationed and back but not a car you buy over seas... most likely for some stupid rule designed to encourage the US econ and crap... and to not make it tooo easy to just import cars.
