View Poll Results: should i open up the headlights and clean them?
ok my headlights or ugly, and so is my driverside fender but we r not here to tak about that, and i dont have much money to spare on new ellipsoids so you think opening up the headlights will help or hurt?
To do list:
Suspension--- researching
UUC System U TDM- 3/05
M50 manifold converstion 3/05
off to the tuning shop for custom software 4/05
Cams/lightened flywheel, throttlebody........ well lets see what happens
so i cant pry it open with a flathead?? and could i seal it with sometype of silicone?
No, because then you'll need totally new headlights. The headlights are not meant to be opened. If you try to open them you will break them and then you'll have to buy new ones. What I would do if I were you is go to the faq section of the forums and find the diy on headlight cleaning right now.

My sh*t is not disco. Thank You.
You have to heat them. Although I have never tried, it's supposed to work.
I have tried cutting the glue around the headlight lens and taking it off that way, trust me, it won't come off. I just gave up and bought Euro M3 ellipsiods. The Euro lenses are just clipped it, so if the glass cracks, fortunately you can just pop the glass off. Unfortunately, just the glass is $250 each! Ouch!
