What's your top speed?

Just wondering, what is the highest speed you ever hit in a car and what were ther circumstances (what car, where, when, etc.). As for myself, I probably never hit anything more than 150km/h in my previous car (Civic Se). Now have a '98 328is and have not had the chance to go over a 100 yet..

100mph in my 318i on the I5 freeway.3 times. never when there are a lot of cars.

my brother got it to 120mph with people, but the governor cut the gas. (probably a good thing for the car, ha)

145mph in my 325i on the freeway from salt lake city to las vegas and I previously owned a 1993 nissan 300zx and i toped out at 165mph at the track on it. B)

115 mph in my 318i along I5 and a couple of times at I15 headed for vegas from barstow....

I agree take care while driving, is not how fast you can go over 100 mph, but how will your BMW is really performing and the best recognize the fact that there are a lot of dudes out there wish they had your BMW and they admire you for that!!!!!!!!
