need serious suggestions and help on what I should get for my 93 325is. I am deciding if I should eitheir get depo dde plus headlight set up from umnitza or get a turner motorsports performance chip or some pulleys? I am on a 500 dollar budget because my loving girlfriend is willing to buy me something for my birthday next month hehe. Or should I buy some other performance parts. I am trying to find out what will give me the best bang for the bucks. I know the chip will give me 22 more horses and more torque and the pulleys from tms gives some hp gain as well. Hopefully some one can me with my choice. thanks to anyone that can help me out.
It all depends if you're going for looks or for performance first. If I were you, I would go with a chip first. For the price you pay, it's a lot better to have a 22hp gain than to have cooler headlights.
if u plan on doing future preformance mods... the chip should be the last thing.. because u need to let the person your getting the chip from what mods u have, to specially program it... thats if u get a chip from bavauto though! heh... i would go for the dde!
To do list:
Suspension--- researching
UUC System U TDM- 3/05
M50 manifold converstion 3/05
off to the tuning shop for custom software 4/05
Cams/lightened flywheel, throttlebody........ well lets see what happens
thanks for the info guys. I actually already have an K&n intake set up with a custom dtm style exhaust straight piped with no muffler. Also would I have to tell tms what parts I have on my car if I decide to get the chip. If i went the other way and got pullies would I expect any great hp gains? Also what are good brands for pullies or would the chip give me more hp gain then pullies?
i dont think the tms chip is 500$ why not the chip and pulleys? and yeah its a good idea to tell them what you got on your car, so they can program your chip for that

thanks for the all the info guys. just wondering cuz on the turner website it claims that the chip will produce 22hp? But some people said it really doesn't?? How can I prove if turner is actually giving real data?? Also is there something else other that chip or pulleys that will give me even more hp that cost around 500 bucks?? Or should I just stick with getting the chip?
since you already have an air itake and exhaust id say the chip and pulleys would be the best mod for performance gains for your price range

thanks for the info. just wondering is there any other mods other then a chip or pullies that i could get that would give me even more horses? or would the chip and pullies be the best investment??
