so my car is blk, what kind of tint should i get? color and percentage? and what brand , and where do i buy it? thanks sorry for being a lil cheerleader lately
Any fully metalized type of tint with a lifetime warranty is ideal. Stay away from Dyed tint. What state do you live in? Different states ave different laws. I personally don't liek ti too dark because it reduces visibility at night. I wouldnt go darker than 20%, but if you want limo style tint, then 5% in the rear windows would be your pick. Also front windows usually have different laws, and check them out fo ryour state as you might prefer having the same darkness tint throughout the entire car.

I do LLUMAR ATR 15% on all of my vehicles. Then I go with ATR 30% on the whole front windhsield. It's illegal in Alabama but it's a chance you have to take! LLUMAR is what I swear by and it's the only tint we use at the shop I work at.

I think you would be the happiest with 20%. It's dark enough to provide good privacy, but light enough to not interfere with nighttime driving or attract unwanted LE attention.
get a pro to install it. Nothing looks worse on a car than poorly installed tint. Besides, most places will give you a lifetime warranty on installation. I have 35% platinum tint on my M3. It has a slightly reflective quality to it (yes, it is illegal, but I like it anyway.)

Get a pro to do it. Usually, it will cost you 120-150 to get it done ... if you buy the tint you're still gonna spend half of that or more and risk doing a shitty job.
