What kind of products do you want for your bimmer?
Hi guys,
Been a sponsor here for a few weeks now (or has it been a month already?
Currently I have the switchblade key alarm system and Kaixen HID kits available for bimmerwerkz.com members.
It's interesting to see... Toyota / Scion guys go crazy over the switchblade keys, while RSX, RX7, Subaru, and other high end imports are nuts about Kaixen HID kits.
SO.. just out of curiosity .. what kind of products do you guys (bimmerwerkz) like to get for your cars?
I prefer my car to look good and be functional first. i like things like M3 style bodykits projector headlights that sort of stuff and then work on the performance side. but seen as i only have a 318 im not gonna bother to much on the performance.
Voted wheels, because after fixing all my little problems, that is where my money will go. Performance parts and HIDs follow. I care more about performance than I do wheels, in general, but I am running on the stock 15" bottlecaps; something needs to be done about that.

oem and performance is wat will probably appeal more to the bmw community seeing how most of our money goes into maintainence anyway....so u might wana look into getting oem parts...
Performance parts is what I would like to see from one of our sponsers. You'll notice that one of our forum sponsers already carries good lighting kits, there's no sense in competing with him for our buisness in lighting. I know I will be looking into replacing/upgrading a lot this summer. With OEM parts you are going to have to try and compete with pelicanparts and bavauto.com. You could compete with bavauto's prices, but they literally have everything and often times sell it in a complete kit to do a proiect. Some accessories wouldn't be bad, I've been trying to find a place that isn't goign to be ripping me off for a Ball type shift knob... but i am not sure how much sustained business you would get from us with accessories.

just an idea for you, you should get a banner and put it in your signature and or a link to your website.. it will give us better accesability to your site
Most definitely performance over show... Although, I currently have 3 bent rims (thanks to the previous owner) so I am looking for some good wheels right now. Something in the 17 X 8 range...

In the future im looking for performance and body styling. Stuff for performance should be more race oriented like harnesses and such. Soon im looking for a front splitter.
