check coolant level comes up every time i drive it hard and the level is fien and there is no leaks in my coolant system or anything

Have you tried to take the sensor out... clean it... and put it back??? try that.... if it doesnt fix it... then replace the sensor... doesnt sound like a main computer problem.. just a sensor prob...

Mine has been doing it also...E36 common issue. Make sure the sensor is screwed all the way in (tight) first of all and see if that remedies the problem if not replace the sensor.

try bleeding the coolant system. there might be air may be getting compressed causing fluid levels to drop causing the light to come on.
