a long time ago when i was putting my intake in i saw this little hose that goes from the stock rubber part (see pic) to a lower part in the manifold. i just wanna know what it is there for and can i get rid of it with a breather or someitng.
the little hole has a hose and thats what im talking about
follow it einstien....it is an AIR hose that goes where.. from where.....
hmmmmmmmm.......2+2=...........
air hoses do what...........
were talking basic math now......
you can do it........
no, try again.......
thats right.....
you need it.
why are you trying to get rid of hoses????? they are there for a purpose.....
it wont make you go faster. prolly make your car drive worse.
thats true. it was built and made with that in place there. so i think it needs it. but to tell you the truth, i don't know exactly what the specific hose does. it looks like you got it off the intake duct part.
here is the exact pic of it on my car.
i dont really want to get rid of it, just that if i can, then i might be able to attach the whole intake drectly to the intake manifold. thats all
isn't that go to an idle control, i have no idea about e36's but on the e30's any hose comin off the intake before the throttle body, is for the ICV. i don't even know if the e36's have those though

<a href='http://www.acantha.ca' target='_blank'>www.acantha.ca</a> 100% thrash your face off metal
yes you need it. its should be a cooler hose for the head. besides, you cant bolt the intake onto the manifold....
you have to have the Mass Air-Flo Meter and the Throttle body in there somewhere.
as i said before, dont try to cut corners and remove a bunch of stuff. Espically if you dont know exactly what you are doing.
