Also a friend of mine has a 95 325i Red on Black with a m3 front bumper, outer is in perfect shape with less then 20k miles on a rebuilt motor and he's asking 10000 usd. I might buy this just for a second car.
When I was shopping for my car I didn't look at anything older than 96. I like the new gadgets that come with it (like traction control and digital dual climate control [no knobs]), as well as OBD II.
I couldn't find a good condition 328i or 328is 1996 or later for less than 10k.
I think I ended up paying around 11. Give or take a grand or two.
I paid $6200 USD for my 93 325i with 115k miles. And then I spent another $1000 to get it to pass inspection and to replace the faulty power window switches. :thumbs
15,000 is way too much with that many miles. At most this gentlemen should not be asking for more then ten grand. If you are patient enough you can find something a lot newer and with less miles for fifteen grand. It took me a year to find my ride. Paid seventeen for a 98 328is with less then 45,000 on it. If you appreciate BMW's, then take the time to search for the right one that fits the price and the condition of the car. Good Luck!

i have been searching all summer for a 93-94 325is, ive so far only found one that had reasonable mileage (110k) and for a reasonable price (6000)
it was in very very good condition. and came with brand new tires. otherwise i wouldnt have paid more than 5500.
it sold within two days of it being on cars.com and he had 2 more people after me lined up to see it. the first person to see it bought it ;*-( :goodness:
I shopped around for many months and found a 93' 325is for 5,000usd. It had 75k on body and 35k on engine. A female had it before me and dropped it into first going 70mph and blew the engine when it had 40k on it. I had to swindle them down from 6500usd though. I couldnt get them any lower than five. has 80k on it now and still no problems (could use a clutch probably going with stage 1 centerforce).
I have a 92 325i, when i bought it it wasn't running so I had to do some work on it and ended up paying $6600 afterwords. A little high if you ask me, but from all my looking around I'd say $5-6k for a 92 w/ around 100k miles is about right.
yea thats crazy money where do you live??? Granted I had connections, but I got my '98 318ti M-sport (only one in town) for $7,200 had 62,000 miles
