Yes those do look like BBS. How much did you pay, and what size? These are 17x8's and run $450ea.

They look like the stock rims on the e39 530i. I bet they are formed to that shape.

As far as oem wheels go, I would say they look most like the late model Porsche 911 wheels, when equiped with the aero kit.

definitely e39 530i...at least an option for it...See two of them everyday in the parking garage for work with these wheels. One in black, the other in silver...both sweet 5 speeds!

they are 800 dollars plus shipping and handling from AAARims.com (as you can tell from the picture). I looked up the company on the web (bizrate, epinions,etc.) and people seem to be happy with their product, but their customer service really blows apparently. I have not bought them yet, i was thinking of these or M Parallels but i like the spoke design of these more and the three piece look.

18x8 by the way, forgot to mention. i dont know how they compare to the similar BBS or the OEM that came with the 5 series but i absolutely love em and for the price its not bad
