Deends on where you live and temperatires you routinely drive in. For warm climates I recommend any good 20W50 Petroleum base or in synthetic, MOBIL-1 in a 15W50.

what about redline , ive heard very good things and i live in MO where it goes from -10 to 110 in a year so hmmm

lot of people here like redline better than Mobil 1...I was interested in trying it as well...I think Autotechnica or Jllphan or someone who has a real performance modded car use Redline and love it...its not that different from Mobil 1 though...

AMSoil makes a new oil that works really well in my 94' 325is. Its called there new European formula 5w-40. It gave me great gas mileage and it seemed like the car ran much smoother then when before i had Redline in it.

mobil 1 is good, but royal purple is huge in the custom muscle car industry. its regarded as better than mobil 1 and we use it in our 2 vette's.
