What Do These Buttons Do?

There is a switch (with ballpoint pen type action) between the front driver side and rear driver side power window switches. My car is a 1992 320 and it is an Itallian model. My owner's manual is all in Itallian. I do not speak or read Itallian and my Spanish isn't good enough to fudge through it

There are 2 switches near the headlight knob. One looks like a light shining through a wavy line and the other looks the same except for the light is angled downward. What is this?

Anyone got a good guide to the opperation of the info center thing below the radio? It's the thing that displays the outside temperature with another LCD to the right of that that displays the time I think (mine's a little messed up, can't quite read it).

The light with the wavey lines is the fog light switch.

That switch (depresses and clicks, press again to release) between your driver's side power windows buttons is probably the "master" window control; if you click it on, then it should prevent people in the back from using the power windows (only that fronst seat buttons will open and close the power windows if this switch is on).
The "light shining through" bit is probably your fogs; although why you would have two switches for them I do not know.

The 2 buttons next to the light switch are the upper for the foglights and the lower for the rear "foglights", by pressing that button your rear red lights become brighter in order the drivers behind you to be able to see you in the fog or heavy rain.

Go to bavauto.com (i think) and order the replacement leds for the control thing. There is a vfaq somewhere on how to take the unit out. Its not hard at all (if its the same as the e36) you just put your hand under the actual unit and there is an opening, push up and toward you and pull the unit loose with a credit cart or something of the like. The reason you cant see is because the bulbs are out.
