What car should I buy?

there are two cars that ive been thinking about buying my 99 camry is getting boring to drive and not much of a chick magnet haha. But I just wanted some input from people that know more about bmw's than me and have more experience with owning them.

the first car is a 1992 318i Supercharged. Lowered with adjustable camber springs, rear ground effects, blue halogen adjustable glass headhights, M3 mirrors and side skirts. Mechanically has a Downing Atlanta Supercharger that is stated to boost horsepower to around 230, custom cool air box and tailpipe. Runs very smooth and sounds good. Interior is black leather in perfect shape with M3 accents. Comes with engine analyzer module, car cover, 4 snow tires with original BMW wheels and an assortment of spare parts and manuals. Hide away stereo with amp. This is a three owner car with 190,000 miles on it and its 4 grand


Or this one a 1991 BMW 318is e30 with 200,000 miles but its been babied by a BMW nut at least thats what the add says and that one costs 3 grand

So what do you guys think?

First, I'd compare service records. If possible, get the vehicle history reports.

personally i would go with the 1992 318i, just because i live in Germany and the parts are really cheap / available...

however, if it has all those mods...it's probably been driven hard.

i never trust someone elses modifications...who knows their level of mechanical skill or knowledge...when you start messing around with superchargers and engine mods, i probably don't need to tell you this, but there is a lot of room to screw things up...

not to be the nay sayer here, just something to think about...
