I'm interested in buying some black rims w/ a chrome lip to put a chrome spinner kit on my 328is e36. I know that it's hard to find an 18" rim where the spinner wont stick out but im looking for no - minimal sticking out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sidenote : If your gonna just use this post to make fun of spinners and show your disaproval for them, you have no clue how much i don't give a F*ck Also, id greatly appreciate it if this post could not turn into a "why are spinners good/bad post" I'm looking for some honest and serious help and any feedback would be greatly appreciated (pictures would be great). Thankyou for your help

Your mother should slap you for asking such a stupid question. If you put spinners on your bimmer, I hope it gets stolen.

You've got to be joking...

Spinners are the Tackiest thing you can do to your car short of a 3 foot tall rear spoiler.

good luck man.

I don't care what you say in your thread prelim.

Don't do it.

BMW's have a sense of elegant, no-flash class and engineering. Mercedes has more flash than BMW's. Rice out one of those. Spinners add unsprung weight, which severely affects handling and ride harshness. The extra wheel weight makes it harder on the suspension system's job of letting the wheel contact the ground at all times. Add mass to that system, and it has much more inertia, and winds up being much slower and causing the car to absorb some of the impact (and the tire contacts the road less since it's in the air more)

Let alone the ridiculous price of them.... If you're gonna go spinners, you GOT to buy primo shit, otherwise, the bearings will go out on some wheels and they end up spinning at totally different speeds (or not at all) and you look retarded. If I was crazy and decided to get some, I wouldn't spend less than 1,000 per wheel. Anything less would fail due to cheep construction.

Spinners do not look right on a BMW. Fiberglass modifications don't look right on a BMW. Gaudy chrome does NOT look right on a BMW.

Sell your car and buy a Honda, Acura, or some random SUV and put spinners on that. At least you wont be quite as shunned by die-hard owners of that brand like you would with a BMW...

Positive comment: Don't get a KIT.... you need an entire rim that's designed to work with the spinner crap. If you have a kit, you wind up looking like walmart hubcap spinners on a ford windstar...
see, my post's not all negative...

BTW: You're welcome to do whatever you wish to your car, we are just saying our opinion, and the general coconscious is that none of us would do that.
