ok well i have a 1994 bmw 325i convt and i guess the convt has a leak or something where the back seats are super wet like under the little crease theres like a inch of water i sucked all the water out with vaccum but the seats are still damp and its smells of shit. i need to know if theres anything i can do to get the stinch out or to keep it from getting wet and if its possible to take the back seats out and how. my main problem is the stinch its terrible please help me
I've also got a 94 convertible. It just started leaking like a week ago. I don't know where water would be coming in to soak your seats cause any water in mine comes in where the trunk and the top cover meet. Your seats just pull out. There's no screws or anything, just grab and pull on the bottom half of the seat. Then pull the headrests up pretty hard to pull them out, and then pull the upper part and it will lift right out. I'd leave them out until you find your leak. My guess is it's the fabric or possibly where the back window is zipped to the canvas. Can't help you on the stench other than a lot of it will go away when everything is dried. Good luck!
