Weird Noise Between Gears

recently i've been hearing a "thump" noise in between gears. do you guys know what the problem is? thank you

is the thump noise occur when switching inbetween gears, or after right when releasing the clutch and engaging in the higher gear?

the thump noise occur when i put it into higher gear (in between the gears), not at a RPM or anything, just normal driving.

mine does that sometimes too. ususally when i go from reverse to first, but that is normal. it rarely makes too much noise when im shifting. its not totaly smooth sometimes but i deal w/. it

how often should you change trasmission fuid, ive never done it.

Isn't it 80k miles? BMW says lifetime fluid but that's highly doubtful.
